These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and services provided by Forest City Power Washing (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website or scheduling a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
Forest City Power Washing provides residential and commercial exterior cleaning services — including power washing, soft washing, roof softwashing, driveway cleaning, deck and fence cleaning, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and permanent lighting installation — across Northeast Ohio. The specific scope of each job is agreed upon at the time of booking or on-site estimate. We reserve the right to decline any job that we determine to be unsafe, outside our service area, or outside the scope of our capabilities.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on the volume, weight, and type of items to be removed. Final pricing is confirmed on-site before work begins. We will not charge more than the agreed estimate without your explicit approval. Prices are subject to change based on actual job conditions. Minimum service fees may apply.
3. Prohibited Items
We are unable to accept the following items due to safety, legal, or environmental regulations:
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Biohazardous or medical waste
- Chemical drums, solvents, or industrial chemicals
- Radioactive materials
- Explosives or ammunition
- Any item prohibited by local, state, or federal law
If prohibited items are discovered during a job, we reserve the right to leave those items behind and adjust the final price accordingly.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all items to be removed are legally yours to dispose of, or that you have the authority to authorize their removal. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the items and the property. You agree to inform us of any known hazards, fragile items, or access restrictions before the job begins.
5. Property Damage
We take every precaution to protect your property. Forest City Power Washing is fully insured. In the event of accidental damage caused by our crew during the normal course of work, please notify us within 48 hours of the job completion. We will work with you to assess and address the damage in good faith. We are not liable for pre-existing damage or damage resulting from access conditions you did not disclose.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. A service fee may apply to credit card payments. Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee. Unpaid balances may be referred to collections.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows without prior notice may be charged a trip fee.
8. Environmental Responsibility
We use biodegradable, environmentally responsible cleaning solutions wherever possible. We take precautions to protect surrounding vegetation, waterways, and drainage systems during all cleaning services. Customers are responsible for informing us of any sensitive landscaping, water features, or drainage concerns before service begins.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Forest City Power Washing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific job shall not exceed the amount paid for that job.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Forest City Power Washing, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of property ownership or authority to authorize services, or your failure to disclose known hazards or access restrictions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
